School

So I'm pretty excited to be finally starting school again!! woot woot!! i cannot wait. i know its only been a year, but its been way too long! you might think its sad to say, but i miss school, truly i do. i should be starting school august 25th! woot woot !

Domi's Visit

I'm so glad that i got to hang out with my friend Domi, from Solvolkia! She was a foreign exchange student my Senior year of highschool, and she came back to visit and to go places with her mom and dad. :D monday night we had a get together at my apartment, it was Domi, Rexy, Meghan, Kylee, Sara, Yvonne, Cordel, Nik, Mikey, Shawn, Oscar and Morgan who came over. it was a lot of fun getting most of the old gang back together, we will most definitely need to do that again really soon! 

Family Reunion Take one

This year was Mikeys family Reunion.. We went to Kaysville Utah at Cherry hills. We drove up a day early so that we could spend a day at lagoon. :D We had a lot of fun at lagoon. although Mikey and scotty were scared to go on all the fun rides :p haha. i got to meet some of his aunts and uncles for the first time.. and a few of his cousins too. it was cool. Everything went as well as expected for a family reunion. and we had a lot of fun getting out of town for four days. :D Cherry hills was pretty fun too, and even though i put tons of sunscreen on, i still managed to get sunburnt... at least it turned into a little bit of a tan though. haha. Overall it was a muchly needed vacation from work and the stress of everyday life.

I"M ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!

Today mikey proposed!!! I'm so excited! and it was adorable how he asked me!  ok i know everyone will want to know.. so heres the story.....

So we were sitting on our futon.. just relaxing after work.. just talking and listening to music.. we lit our candles on our entertainment center and just sat in the candlelit room. Mike had put the CD he had made for me, with all the songs that remind me of him on it,  in the CD player.  He started singing one of  the songs to me while i was laying on his lap... he got up for a second and i just continued to lay on the couch, he sat by me singing to me more, then he paused and asked me how much i loved him., and i replied, that i love him with all my heart, and he went on as he was kneeling on one knee, " Do you love me enough to marry me?"  then he pulled out a box and opened it with my engagement ring in it!!!  It was truly the sweetest thing.  :D i looked at him for a second, stood up gave him a big hug and and Yes of course! then i gave him a kiss, it was sweet.  and a memory that i will always remember.  

 I love you Mikey, and i cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you! 

Fourth of JULY :D

Happy Independance Day AMERICA! One of my favorite holidays.. and I'm very sad to say that i didnt get to watch my 4th of July movie this year :( just means as soon as i can find it on DVD i need to go and BUY it!  The fourth of july was a lot of fun. I spend the day at work of course.. but that was ok.  I didnt let me having to work the whole dang weekend effect my fun for the fourth.. after work i went and bought a watermelon.. because whats fourth of july without watermelon.. and i bought some fun little sparklers for us to play with. Mikey, Meghan, Darron and his Girfriend, and Scotty planned  to go to the river to watch the fireworks.. We picked a really good spot... down on the river bed.. on the rocks to watch the fireowrks. it was amazing. but then they didnt do the fireworks like they usually do.. so we had to find another spot to watch it.. i loved sitting in mikeys lap with his arms around me the whole time as we watched together <3 totally romantic. lol.  and thanks to mom and dad we even had a HUGE  bag of toostie rolls to eat.. but i think i can honestly say for the two of us.. Mikey and I that we are entirely tired of tootsie rolls. haha. and we didnt even eat them all. actually they are still in my kitchen cupboard. haha.  I'll add pics later on. :D

CAMPING TRIP!!!!!!!

Having a Camping trip with my girls and a few friends! :D very muchly excited to get out of town for three days! woot!!  We are going to the "Firth River bottoms"  to go camping.. not too far from town  just far enough to not worry about a lot of stuff thats been going on. Next time i vote we go to swan valley up at the falls :D
Camping I've decided it just needs to be with the right people to make it fun! I had my girls with me and my wonderful boyfriend drove out to camp with us after he got off work. :D it was all good :D  I hadnt been camping in FOREVER! it was a lot of fun to get out for a while thou :D 

I"ve learned that boyscouts dont knwo how to make a REAL fire! leave it to the girls.. because real campers dont use lighter fluid to get a Camp fire going LMAO! haha.. lots of fun.. will definatly need to do it again soon!

Mom"s visit!

I'm flying down to ARIZONA!! woot woot! haha. I'm flying down to help my mom and dad drive upp here for my sister graduation :D it will be fun! a long drive.. but will be well worth it to get out of town for  2 days! :D  i really need to get away after everything that just happened.

Mikey and Darron drove me to Salt Lake City to catch my plane to Tucson Arizona. We took roscoe with us of course. :D long drives dont bother him a bit. which is a good thing! :D haha. He pretty much slept the whole way. he fell asleep on my CD case. it was cute :p

I had a lot of fun visiting with my mom, dad, melissa and geoff. :D i wish i could have spent more time with them, but i am grateful that i was able to get a few days off to see them :D 
We went and walked the river one morning and had roscoe run around with us.. he went crazy  over the geese haha he actually was chasing them and he didnt watch where he was going and he ended up in the canal.. it was the funnest thing ever! haha.
We also  went to Subzero to get ice cream when they were here. that was fun! :D then we came over to my apartment and talked and hung out.. it was awesome!  and I Hope i will be able to get time off to go visit in OCTOBER!!   Im excited and I CANNOT WAIT! Woot!

Graduation 2010

I know its been awhile since i"ve blogged so i"m gonna catch up tonight! haha..



SO Firstly i wanna say CONGRADULATIONS!! to all my friends and family who have graduated this year!! I"m happy for you all! :D and I hope you all had a wonderful experience in High school and go on to college. I wish you all luck in your future :D

Defination of Happiness

Recently I've been talking with my Grandpa on Facebook, and with everything that's been going on in my life, he's given me some really good advice. so i'm gonna postt it here.. i think it might help some of my readers too. :D
From my Grandpa's letter to me:

I've really only got one question: Are you happy?
Don't answer too fast. The "happy" I want you to be is more than just being in a good mood. There are about four parts to this -- sorta like multiple parts to a test question.
1. Are you healthy? You're never going to feel better than you do in your 20's -- and how you treat yourself now really impacts how you feel later in life. So take care of yourself!

2. Are you safe? You never, ever, have to put up with a relationship or home in which you don't feel safe. If you don't feel safe, call me, call a friend, call your mom -- and get out!

3. Are the people around you willing to let YOU decide what you need to do to improve yourself? Whether that is going to school, going to work, or whatever -- will they let you try?

4. Do you respect the people around you on more than one level? Are they smart? Nobody stays a good-looking 20 year-old forever. And you almost always need to have brains once the looks go. In regards to boyfriends and girlfriends, I always liked the line: "You can't fix stupid."

If you can answer yes to all of this, then you're on your way to being happy. Now, you just need to be able to answer those questions next week, next month -- and forever. And if you are truly happy, then I'm happy for you. That's all anyone should really want for you.

Our adventure in finding the "ANGEL WINGS"

So today while sitting at home wondering what to do.. Me, Mike, and Meghan decided we'd go exploring to find a painting of "Angel Wings" which were on a Brick wall somewhere in downtown Idaho falls.  We didn't really know where to look, so we posted to facebook, and sent out text messages to people who we thought might know where they were at... unfortunately we were lead to several different places in which we had no luck in finding the "Angel Wings". So instead we went to the Snake river and took some pictures of ourselves just for fun. We had quite a blast doing it, if i dont say so myself. :D
