18 hrs of Driving hell

So today will begin our journey back to Idaho falls. I've packed the car and have everything to go. The boys are outside working on installing the car dolly to Mike's Car. we never thought that it would take almost 5 hours to install a car dolly. but then again were talking about mike's car here. lol. you never know whats gonna happen when your working on that monster. After almost five hours of working on the car and drilling to get the car dolly on were finally ready to go. I said my goodbyes to my family loaded Roscoe up in the back of the Tahoe, and climbed in.

Sergio was driving first, he drove just outside of town before he was starting to feel tired, then mikey took over the driving... he drove for about an hour and he started to swerve a little so i took it over from there.. i drove through phoenix and almost to flag before i had to stop. *note to everyone* when i drive in the dark on the freeway, the lights of the oncoming cars make me car sick after so long. So i pulled over and Raul took over from there. he was happy he got some rest and was pumped and ready to drive. so i climbed in the back and laid down and sipped on my ginger-ale. (thanks mom for packing that in the cooler!!)

I woke up and the sun was just starting to rise, we were just entering Paige. We stopped at jack in the box for breakfast and to stretch. then we hit the road again. it was about 2ish When we reached Salt lake we stopped at a swap meet, we wanted to walk around and stretch. Roscoe needed a good stretch too. We Decided to eat at the mexican restaurant there, after we ate and walked around for a bit we really just wanted to get home. so we all jumped in the car, filled up on gas again and hit the road.

After the long ride we finally reached Idaho falls, it was about 730ish by the time we parked and unhooked the car, unloaded stuff and was able to just relax.

I know I've made this drive several times.. but i must say, when my dad used to drive the drive it seemed much shorter and by far it was much more enjoyable. i miss those long car drives with my dad and sister.
As much as i loved being in Arizona and spending time with my mom and everyone, i'm glad to be back in Idaho falls with Mikey. I missed him so much while we was away for 5 weeks.
