My wedding dress!!

On St. Patrick's day i made an appointment to go to margene's to find the perfect dress for my wedding. I tried on about ten dresses and each dress had something i liked about them, but each dress was so different. I fell in love with the first dress i put on. it has everything i loved in a dress that i was looking for! i cannot wait to finally be able to bring my dress home :) Finding the perfect dress is an amazing feeling! i cannot wait for mikey to see me in the dress!

Happy St. Patricks day everyone hope you all enjoyed yourselves and had a good ol time! We had a bunch of people come over and we played a few drinking games and made jello shots! it was a lot of fun!

RIP Sophie

March brought much sadness into our lives as we started out the month with our Sophie girl getting out of our yard somehow in which we still are not sure how she got out. She got out and the pound picked her up thank goodness. I immediately went to get her after discovering she was at the pound when i got off work, and rushed her to the vet to get boosters on all her shots. To our surprise just three days after receiving her shots she began to become sick. The vet swore it was just a reaction to the shots and that she'd be ok in a few days. we waited it out a day or two and it just seemed to get worse. by day three she was still vomiting and beginning to have diarrhea and she had no energy at all. all i could think of is how i didn't want to lose her because her symptoms were all of which come with the deadly puppy disease of Parvo. I cuddled with her hoping that she'd make it through and gain her energy back, but she continued to not want to eat or drink water. i even tried to force water  down her so that she could stay hydrated enough to battle the parvo, but that didnt seem to help much. :( the night of the 2nd we had let her outside because she seemed to be burning up, i could definately tell she had a temperature. She layed in the snow like she usually did but didnt want to move or do anything. when i tried to get her to come back inside she wouldnt move, i had to carry her inside. She was muddy from the wet ground and also had gotten throw up in her fur so after letting her warm up for a few minutes mikey and i gave her a nice bath to try and relax her. she was so weak and frail she had lost a lot of weight super fast she was probably half of her normal size in just three days. I was worried sick about her and had this no good feeling stuck in the bottom of my stomach. all i wanted to do is curl up with her and tell her it would be ok and try and nurse her back to health but i also felt hopeless because i didnt know how to help her. We called the vet on call and made an emergency trip to go see him. With him taking one look at her he was pretty determined that she had Parvo. As soon as he said that i burst into tears, because i then knew she probably wasn't going to make it. He did a Parvo test to confirm that she had it, we waited a few minutes for test results and it showed positive for Parvo after only a few minutes. :( He took a look at her skin and how she was so weak, and his opinion was that she probably wasn't going to make it through the night. :( He was pretty positive even with treatments and fluids that the percentage of her making it was about 5 percent. he basically gave us two options, to put her down or to bring her home to die at home.

 I hugged her in tears as i was listening to all of this, squeezing mikey's hand for comfort. We wanted a few minutes to decide what we wanted to do, so the doc stepped out for a minute. We decided it would be best for her and she wouldn't have to suffer if we just put her down. It would be so traumatic for us and Roscoe and little E if we brought her home to die. With hating having to make a decision like this we finally told the doc what we wanted to do. We both hugged her and told her we loved her so very much and that everything would be ok in a few minutes. She was already pretty much gone when we brought her in the doc kept telling us and it would be a matter of time if we wouldn't have brought her in when we did.

shaken with the fact that i just lost my baby girl Sophie i stood there hugging mikey crying. After a few minutes  i decided i needed some fresh air and stumbled out the door with mikey and scotty. All three of us were shaken up from our loss and so afraid of Roscoe and Little E would come down with the same sickening disease.

In memory of Sophie mike and i got dog tags made for our key chains since we weren't able to get her ashes.

We both love and miss her so very much and are very sad but glad that she is in a better place and out of pain. We love you Sophie girl! Forever in our hearts and always by our side. :)

Planning Our WEDDING!!

After doing a lot of researching and price quoting we finally found the most amazing place for us to get married!! We've decided to get married at The Atrium in Hemming Village in Rexburg. We fell in love with this place as soon as we walked in. We love the grand staircase and the amazing inside waterfall! the chandelier's are amazing!  We met with our Photographer Michelle who is also a big part in our wedding as our wedding planner.  She's great. so kind and full of ideas :) In one night we basically had everything picked out, linens, colors, centerpieces, flowers, how and where were walking "down the aisle". I was so relieved and excited that we got so much planned in just two hrs!

Valentines Day :)

So every year we try and so something special for each Other on Valentines day, this year i made my hubby a hand made gift of 52 reasons i love him using a deck of cards, card stock,  glue, ribbon and binding rings. I thought it was a neat idea and he seemed to LOVE IT! ( i have the instructions if anyone is interested) Along with it i made him a homemade card so i could freely express my feelings to him instead of picking what someone else wrote in a store bought card. He loved it too :)

We both had to work on Valentines day, so we decided we weren't really going to do anything. That night Mike and Quinton decided they wanted to surprise us and kicked me and Britney out of the house for an hour. we had no idea what to do, so we went shopping :) bought a little something for the boys and then decided to hit the photo booths at the mall just to kill time. It was fun, a great time with my new friend.

After about an hour we went back to my house to try and get the boys to let us in, they weren't quite done getting things together, so we waited another ten minutes. Turns out they set up a romantic dinner for the four of us, and they even COOKED! it was very sweet after dinner we sat around and talked for hours on end until we forced ourselves to go to bed because of work in the morning.

Hangin with the cousin :)

Lately we've been hanging with Mikey's cousin Quinton and his girlfriend Britney :) they are way fun to hang with. We even got together with Darron, Keira and their daughter Aubree to have dinner one night and hang around and talk. it was a lot of fun, and i enjoyed staying in and just have a good time talking and catching up with everyone. Its definitely something we want to continue to do with our close friends :)

FeBrUaRy

We welcomed February with out much snow hoping that spring would be here really soon. The groundhog saw his shadow yet again this year, so 6 more weeks of winter for all of us, and man was he right. Its been snowing the last couple of days and i think we've accumulated a few inches and are suppose to receive anywhere from 8-40 inches this coming week. HOW CRAZY IS THAT! hello winter! ha about time you decide to show up! 

After waiting what seemed along time we finally received our pictures from Hilary Briscoe, and I'm very pleased with how they turned out :) I've posted a few on the previous post. 

We haven't been up to much here in the first week of February, just working and going to school and keeping very busy between jobs and caring for our pups :)

Happy Birthday to my Girl Gabby

I think about you always, and i will always have you in my heart! I miss you very much and i wish everyday you could be here to snuggle up with me after work like we used to and to fight over my bed at bedtime, go on those long morning walks, and play in the snow. Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday! im so grateful to have her as my mom :) she's always been there for me; lets me call and cry on the phone when i need to and just lets me snuggle with her and watch our favorite movies together. I love you mom! thanks for everything that you do!
